ATOMS (11 & UNDER)
Atoms hockey is open to girls or boys aged 11 and under. At this level of ice hockey body checking and slapshots are not allowed.
Training
During the season the Atoms train once a week on Tuesdays from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Extra training sessions may be booked in the run-up to National Championships.
Players are expected to arrive at training sessions at least one-half hour before the scheduled time to ensure that they are in their equipment and ready to take to the ice, as soon as available.
Competition
The Atoms compete locally in the ACTIHA local league. Games are played on Sundays from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in Canberra at the Phillip Ice Rink.

News
The 2008 Atom ACT State team were the Silver medalists at the National Championships held in Newcastle.
