Midgets: 14

MIDGETS (18 & UNDER)

Midget hockey is open to players aged 18 and under. At this level, ice hockey is full contact (i.e. body checking ) and slap shots are also allowed.

Training

During the season the Midgets train once a week on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Phillip Ice Rink. Extra training sessions may be booked in the run-up to league play-offs or national championships.

Players are expected to arrive at training sessions at least one-half hour before the scheduled time to ensure that they are in their equipment and ready to take to the ice, as soon as available.

Competition

The Midgets this year will compete in the senior B competition in the ACT

The cost will be $15.00 per player per game payable to the manager before getting on the ice.
