Coaching Activity
All accredited coaches in the ACT Ice Hockey Association, as part of Ice Hockey Australia, are required to list their coaching activities annually.

AccreditationACTIHA, as an affiliate of IHA, subscribes to the National Coaching Accredition Scheme of the Australian Sports Commission.
There are several ways to become an accredited coach for the ACT Ice Hockey Association. For beginner coaches, there is an on-line course to take through the Australian Sports Commission at
http://www.ausport.gov.au/participating/coaches/education/onlinecoach. This is sometimes referred to as Level 0.
For Level I, II and III accreditation, the most straightforward way is to take the appropriate course through ACT IHA or one of the other state associations. For Levels I and II, it is possible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Current Competence (RCC) if you are or have been an experienced ice hockey coach in Australia or overseas. Check the appropriate guidelines below for information.
