Bantams

BANTAMS Hockey is for boys and girls aged 15 and under. At this level, ice hockey becomes full contact (i.e. body checking) and slapshots are also allowed.

Bantam Training 2010

Bantam training is Tuesday evening 6-7pm (7-8pm on 22 Jun, 29 Jun and 20 Jul only).

Players are expected to arrive at training sessions at least one-half hour before the scheduled time to ensure that they are in their equipment and ready to take to the ice, as soon as available.

Bantams are part of the Senior C competition. There are 4 teams making up this division: Senior C Team 1, Senior C Team 2, Women, and Bantams.

News 2010

11 Jul 10 - The Bantam/Peewees did excellent work on Sunday, skating to a 10 - 1 win over the Women's team. The team really started to work together in the second period, with good puck movement demonstrated. Adam Murray had a strong game in net and over half of the skaters made the score sheet. Some notable performances included Kai with 3 goals, Nick Sault with 4 goals, Jeremy and Nick Lee with a goal and an assist each, and an outstanding game by Ben Cox as he scored one goal and got 3 helpers. Well done to the whole team.
