IHNSW Midget Travel Team Fees - normally $15 per game (sometimes $20 for away games)
Senior B:- It is estimated that the cost per player will be approximately $235 - $270 for the Senior B season. These payments will be collected in two $100 increments plus a third increment to cover the remain costs (expected to be between $35 - $70).
Explanation of Senior B Costs - ice fees are generally $325 per hour + $75 for the referees = $400 per game ($200 per team). Each Senior B team must pay $1000 for each 5 games of the 20 game season ($4000 total). That is why we have asked for an initial installment of $100 per player to pay for our first 5 games. 100% of money collected for Midget Phoenix Senior B play, goes to senior B play (not midget travel team costs). Final costs per player will be determined by the total number of players playing (estimated to be 15-18 full time players).
Midget-aged Senior B Players - Although we are taking a more recreational hockey approach to Senior B (100% equal ice time, no PP or PK), we still consider the Senior B season to be an integral part of midget-aged player hockey development (midget-aged players are considered full members of this team). The Midget Phoenix have gone with a policy of discouraging casual, external players for Senior
B play, so everyone pays an even amount regardless of the number of games played. This is to encourage maximum attendance at games, maximum sharing of cost over the whole team (minimises the cost per game for the regular players (not the occasional ones)), it makes sure team fee payment deadlines are met with the association and it makes it easier for the team to manage and keep track of monies.
NOTE: In extenuating circumstances, and on a case-by-case basis, where midget-aged players cannot attend a significant number of Senior B games, future game fee installments may be reduced to partially compensate for games lost (e.g. in the case of prolonged injury).
Adult Players and Bantams - Adult players will either pay $20 per game or pay an equal share for the season (the same as the midget aged players). Bantam-aged players will pay $15 per game until such time as the player/parents/coach determine that the player meets the Senior B competetion standard or not. At that time, the bantam player will be offered full Phoenix Senior B membership, or remain on the affiliated roster for periodic call-up by the coach. Bantam players accepted for full season play in Senior B, will have monies already paid deducted from their full season fee.
Bantam Training Costs - it is IHACT policy to have under-aged players training with a higher age group pay $150 to the association for the extra ice time.
