MIDGETS (18 & UNDER)
Midget hockey is open to players aged 18 and under. At this level, ice hockey is full contact (i.e. body checking ) and slap shots are also allowed.
Training COACH'S TRAINING PAGE
During the season the Midgets train once a week on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Phillip Ice Rink. Extra training sessions may be booked in the run-up to league play-offs or national championships.
Players are expected to arrive at training sessions at least one-half hour before the scheduled time and ensure that they are in their full equipment at the players bench 10 minutes before their scheduled ice time (as the Zamboni begins it ice clean).
Competition
The Midgets this year will compete in the IHNSW Midget League (travel) and the IHACT Senior B League (locally). Midget-aged players are also eligible to play in IHACT Senior A competitions. COMPETITION FEES

National Tournament 2011 TEAM LIST
Syd Tange - Cockburn arena, Perth, 23-26 July. Team ACT had an excellent tournament and narrowly missed an entry into the medal round. The results of the round robin were as follows: 1-4 loss vs NSW, 0-12 loss vs VIC, 0-1 loss vs QLD, 4-2 win vs WA (who eventually won the bronze medal) and a 0-4 loss vs SA. The tournament results were: Gold Medal VIC (3-0 win vs NSW), Silver Medal NSW, Bronze Medal WA (3-2 overtime win vs SA). Congratulations to all ACT players for their top notch performance at Tange!
