Mixed Hockey League

The Mixed Hockey League was an integral part of the ACT Ice Hockey Association for many years, and has now been renamed as part of our Senior competition: Senior C and D levels. They work the same way, however, so the explanations below still stand. MHL A is now Senior C and MHL B is now Senior D.

MHL (14 & OLDER)

MHL hockey is open to male and female players aged 14 and older. This league is non-contact. MHL has three divisions:

MHL A - This level is designed for the Intermediate player. A player should have more than one year of ice hockey experience and have a good understanding of the game. MHL-A teams compete in the Senior C competition.

MHL B - This level is designed for Beginner players having the basic ice hockey skills and an understanding of the game. It is ideal for players who have graduated from the Senior Ice Hockey Academy. MHL-B teams compete in the Senior D competition.

Schedule

See Senior C and D pages for training and game schedules.

Communication

Coaches, managers and players communicate via association mailing lists for individual leagues and teams. This is in addition to the general actiha-members list. As a player, you must be subscribed to both. Instructions are online for subscribing to mailing lists.
