Midgets League
The ACTIHA Midget League is for players from 16 to 19 years of age. Midgets play full Hockey rules; body-checking and slap-shots are allowed.
Midgets is a travel team. The team participates in the NSW competition, which involves travel to Sydney on weekends. Sydney teams also visit Canberra.

Infomation:
The Canberra Phoenix Midget Team is for players with ages born 1988 and later.
It is a Canberra travel team that competes in the NSWIHA Midget League.
Games are played in Sydney and Canberra.The first point of contact is with the team manager.
Training:Training is at the Phillip Ice Rink on Tuesdays at 6:00pm till 7:00pm.
Be there on time with full kit,and ready to hit the ice.
News:The new Phoenix uniforms are in transit from the supplier.Stay tuned for news
of their arrival.
Draw:Ice Hockey NSW may amend the draw throughout the season and while every
effort will be made by Coach and Manager to notify players,you should check the Ice
Hockey NSW website.

Fundraising is an important task for the success of the team.Every effort is expected by
parents to assist the team members in this.
Parents are in an important part of the team,both as active supporters of the team on
Game day and to fill the many important roles such as bench scores and assistants,to
ensure the success of the sport .Don’t leave it up to the coach and manager to do every
task.

Tange 2006:
The Tange 2006 tournament is set for July 11th through to July 14th and is at the Blacktown Ice Arena.
Please note these dates on your calendar.
All eligible players (born 1988 and after)will be invited to the selection trials for the ACT
2006 Team.
Team members will be required to stay in the team accommodation for the duration of
the tournament.
