Women’s League

The ACTIHA Women’s League is for female players from 14 years of age and upward. Younger girls play with the Atoms or Pee-wees. There is no age limit for female players in the Women’s League. Women’s hockey does not allow body-checking, but does allow slap-shots.

The Women’s League participates in both a local league and also in the NSW league. The local league is played on Sunday evenings at Philip Ice Rink. The team competing in the NSW league travels to Sydney on some weekends, and also hosts games with Sydney teams in Canberra.
